When we first arrived, the house was extremely dirty. To the host’s credit, she answered our calls right away when we reported that the TVs upstairs and downstairs were not working. She sent someone the next day to clean and attempt to fix the TVs. Unfortunately, the TVs were still not working afterward, and even after the second cleaning we found a Skull packet under a table, along with candy and food left behind from previous guests.The home appears to need a thorough deep cleaning. The baseboards, bedding, and showers were noticeably dirty, and the showers smelled like urine. The outdoor pool cushions were also in poor condition—when sitting on them, our skin and bathing suits would become black from the residue.The location was great, and the host was responsive throughout our stay, which we appreciated. The kayaks and paddleboards were a nice amenity, and we enjoyed using them. However, the bikes advertised for guest use were heavily rusted and unusable.Overall, the property has great potential because of its location and responsive host, but it is in need of significant cleaning, maintenance, and attention to detail before we would consider staying again.
