"Beautiful surroundings on a working farm and a lovely couple. They were busy with lambing but took the time to make me a coffee on arrival and chat to me about the farm and what they were doing. The room was comfortable and very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. I will be staying there next time I am working in the area, and i will be making sure that is soon. "The night I stayed the petrol station next to hotel was being refurbished. That meant jack hammers and floodlights throughout the night - the poor staff didnt know anything about it until they started and were very apologetic - staff were very good. Professional, welcoming, friendly and helpfull. However - the room I stayed in was a bit grubby (lights on side of bed showed how dusty the room and carpet were).
