"Love this house! Had everything we needed for a wk stay, kept on extending it as there was no other place we rather stay at. 2 min drive from the mall and all amenities, waterfront is a few mins drive away as well. Great quality linen, towels, bath products and shower pressure was perfect. Very private and easy parking, yet on the main road and fast to get into the bridge to go into the city. Would book again! "

"We are very happy to have found a great pet-friendly place to stay in Hobart. The Cave is quite unique, small but well-designed with a lovely ambience and pretty garden. It’s warm and cosy with views over rooftops to the city. Yvette has thought of everything and kindly left food and water bowls for our whippet and fresh flowers on the table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Noticeably clean and thoughtfully curated property. Was a perfect overnight stay for a family of four including 2 school-aged children. The unit is actually the front-half of a larger property - door separating the 2 in the middle of the house but blocked off. Whilst the back property was occupied and using the driveway, any noise was limited."

"We had mentioned we were bringing our dog but the stairs were too steep, also the TV was not working , needed new batteries in the remote and unable to turn on without. lovely view from the veranda. "

"We stayed in the Western Penthouse. This property is beautiful, large open plan living and kitchen/dining. The kitchen has everything you need to self-cater and the view out the bay and to Mt Wellington is stunning. Three double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and separate laundry make it feel like home away from home. Complimentary laundry powder, wash/shampoo/conditioner is supplied. Nothing was a problem, fresh towels were supplied when requested. Thank you for a lovely stay. We definitely recommend...

"Great location close to the water. Unit is outdated.Time for new furniture and new crockery etc in kitchen. Deep spa bath impractical and dangerous unless your a gymnast. Was OK but could be much better"

"It was one of the best places I have stayed, the hosts Janina and Gary can not do enough for you. Met on arrival offered to carry our luggage, very wam people went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Was surprised how big the flat was and spotlessly clean Lovely views close to everything. Would recommend to everyone."

"We loved the Red Door (now grey) for it's layout and design - an excellent choice for any couple looking to explore Hobart and be within walking distance of the market - we loved the kitchen, deck and main bedroom views - many thanks to Robin and Kate for stocking some coffee and milk for the first morning after our flight. Stores on Sandy Bay Road are easy to access for additional provisions. Overall a great place to hang your hat for a few days."

"The house has a lovely view across the bay and is close to the ferry as well as cafes and the local hotel for evening meals. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, but the kitchen is poorly equipped if you do choose to stay in for a meal. There was also a problem with the pump, which needed to be reset frequently."

"Fantastic location. Easy walk to waterfront and city attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Room quiet despite being on a busy thoroughfare. Airport Skybus stops just out the front. Would have loved a coffee machine. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hobart."
