Saw a humpback whale breach over and over. Caught huge , delicious Dungeness crab. What a fantastic week and for our family the perfect walk down memory lane. Fifty years ago we lived here "

"The views from the property were so beautiful. The house had everything that we needed. Kim was a very good host and got back quickly to me anytime I had a question. It was a true Alaska experience. Too bad the hot tub was not working because it sure would’ve been nice to soak after a long day on the boat. Also, I thought being secluded on an island would be amazing. Don’t get me wrong, It was very nice but at the same time it was a lot of work. The only water is water and catchment system and...

"Everything was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Location requires a rental car, but since we had one, it worked just fine. We enjoyed being so close to Herring Cove where we could watch the bears and eagles first thing every morning, and last thing every evening. Can't walk to the ocean, as the forest is too thick. View is beautiful, tho."

"The coho bungalow fit 6 adults fine--2 baths, 1shower, plenty of sleeping room . Close enough to town to walk everywhere. . the area around it looks like a bad college dorm area--houses in bad shape, junk outside--but if you don't look at that, its a great location, inside very nice and good value. steep parking but you can park at end of hill for free.. "
