Beautiful property and so neat to stay in this old farmhouse. The kids really got a kick out of it. The lake was perfect and the pontoon was great to use on the lake.

We had a wonderful experience at the Ferguson farmhouse. We really appreciate Ronn for all of his assistance when needed. I highly recommend this property and host! We made great use of all of the amenities (sauna, patio, fire pit, black stone grill, basketball court, paddle boards and pontoon)! Perfect place for our family get together! Great memories were made!

The property was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of space for the kids and enough space to have privacy. Ron was very generous and had squirt guns and water balloons for them which they thoroughly enjoyed. Great place to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. Already planning our next trip to the farmhouse.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a fine location right on the lake. There were a few minuses, like the upstairs bathroom/shower could have been in better shape, but overall this spot was worth the money spent. We weren’t too successful with our fishing efforts but that was more on us than the owner. Overall, would recommend the property.

The space and location worked out great to gather with our kids and grandkids for a long weekend. The farmhouse is beautiful, and there is lots of room to gather inside and out. We enjoyed activities like kayaking, fishing, yard games, and the sauna. There are 3 different spots to enjoy a campfire, which was great. The only drawback we had in our experience was that there wasn't an area to swim due to weeds and algae. Everything else was great!

The farm house was great. We especially enjoyed renting the pontoon from Ron. All communication with Ron was easy and timely. Having the portable fire pit on the patio right outside the back door was nice. We also made use of the Blackstone grill. We had fun with all of the available games such as cornhole and croquet. We didn't use the available sauna, but I'm sure many folks do.

This old farmhouse has charm. There are plenty of activities provided to keep you busy rain or shine. It is a nice drive to Duluth for shopping and dining. The fully stocked kitchen allows you to cook your own meals. In fact we spent many hours in the beautiful kitchen visiting. The sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. The many seating areas let you take in the view and relax.
The beds were comfortable. The sauna is fantastic. What a wonderful experience to enjoy. We will definitely be renting again.

We had a wonderful time! We had 5 adults & had room for more! 2 kayaks, a paddle board & canoe were available for our use. House creeks but that's what old houses do. Beds were so comfortable! Grill & Blackstone (and all the extras for the Blackstone) available for use. The lake was good & fish were caught. Ron was great & very easy to work with. He showed up shortly after we got there & explained where stuff was that we might need. The house was perfect. 3 fire pits, awesome, comfy patio furniture, comfy sun porch. Perfect house! We will look into the Farmhouse again when we vacation to Minnesota.

A home away from home, while feeling yourself relax into a peaceful vacation mode! A clean and temperature controlled , property with a tasteful balance of , old farmhouse blending into modern day features! We had Grandparents with needs of main level living features and younger enjoyed plenty of space on the upstairs bedroom/bath areas. Everyone found a comfortable place to sleep after expending time and energy outdoors either on the water, or yard space! All enjoyed opportunity at smore time around a fire after ease of meals were had. The Blackstone and modern kitchen made meals a breeze. The indoor and outdoor dining features were comfortable and inviting!
Ron, thank you! We could not have asked for a more welcoming nor enjoyable, vacation experience!
Best to you!

We very much enjoyed our week on Oak Lake! The property is beautiful with many opportunities for activities (basketball, yard games, bonfires, horseshoes, etc.!)
We enjoyed relaxing sunset cruises on the pontoon, evenings roasting s'mores on the patio, and many meals on the included Blackstone griddle.
The area is close to many attractions. We visited Moose Lake State Park and enjoyed a day trip to Duluth.
The house was charming, clean and comfortable! We had ample space for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. It was a nice getaway with many of the comforts of home.
Thank you to the owners for sharing your property with us!
