"Great place to stay, very smart bars and breakfast room. High quality breakfast with good range of options. Poor condition rooms - although clean and comfortable they could do with refurbishing. Overall I would still recommend this as a good value hotel."

"One night transit stay. The room was clean. The in room breakfast was very good with plenty of choice in cereal & milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, grain bar and apples. All for a very good price of £50 per room. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely old inn. The ensuite bathroom was amazing for such an old place. Very modern, very clean with a good-sized and fully powered shower and a nice area set aside with a make-up mirror. The landlord was very friendly. A good location for walking in the countryside or visiting the many nearby homes and gardens. We'll stay there again."
