"A warm welcome with a very informative Summary of the hotel, restaurant and amenities. The room was perfect and well furnished. A plus was no noisy fan in the ensuite. The evening meal was very filling as was the breakfast. A great stay in a lovely location."

"We found the welcome on arrival was excellent, all staff at reception/bar and breakfast room had a great attitude,. The hotel was nice and warm, very comfortable to spend time in, the pool was very useful on one rainy day, our room was large and very well stocked although it was a deluxe room so I can't speak for other rooms. The furniture is old style but that didn't bother us. The breakfast was excellent and all food was of a good quality. Would return again."

"Really beautiful and serene hotel experience with rich history. The town is absolutely picturesque and welcoming. The hotel tries its best to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The garden room was adorable. It is a bit small, but it didn’t make a difference once you enjoy the private terrace. Breakfast was delicious on site, as well as the 3 course dinner you can reserve. Staff were all very sweet and helpful if you needed anything. Very quaint countryside option that is super close to town center with ample onsite parking. The town itself is not accessible friendly per se, so be prepared to walk up stairs and cobble stone streets."

"Great hotel. Had everything we needed and very helpful staff. Particularly the lady at reception. Evening meal unfortunately wasnt great - was overpriced for what we had and rhe quality. Breakfast was great however."

"The hotel was lovely, slightly dated, but very clean with kettle and coffee pod machine in the room. Very modern toilet and shower. Towels were white, fluffy and soft. The bed was so comfortable. Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. However, I would reserve the dining area in the evening as it was busy with a 30 minute wait for a table. I would definitely recommend the hotel"
