Sheila is a wonderful hostess. Very attentive and personable. I was the last guest of the season and had the place to myself. Well managed and very well located. Highly recommend.

First the plusses: incredibly friendly and helpful host, delicious cooked-to-order breakfast (included), with homemade bread, beautiful and bucolic setting on an active farm about 2 miles outside Kenmare - loved the sheep sounds. Minuses: it was the middle of a heatwave, lots of flies and no AC/fan. There were water/toilet flushing issues. And there should be a note in the listing that payment is cash only! The place desperately needs some updating - as long as your expectations are not high, you'll enjoy it. Honestly, though, the price was very high for what we got.
This was one of the top highlights of my trip to Ireland. The farm is lovely (enjoy petting the cows and baby lambs!) and the owner/hostess (Sheila) is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She also makes an excellent Irish breakfast. Seriously, don’t miss this place.
This was one of our stops as we toured the wild Atlantic Way. The hosts were very communicative, and accommodating around our arrival time. Fantastic experience to stay on a local farm who served a traditional Irish breakfast. While we are not a fan of white and black pudding, we loved the experience. The views were stunning, and we loved the resident cows.
We tried to stay at all different bnb's on our trip ...this was our farmhouse one. It's a nice place.very clean ... wonderful owner very nice lady. It's not your usual bnb ...more like your own room and bathroom in your aunt's house ... living room to match. Very authentic and enjoyable. Very near ring of Kerry and a short drive from town.
White Heather Farmhouse is a few minutes drive from Kenmare - in the country but convenient to everything. There is farmland all around, so it’s peaceful and quiet - we had a heifer outside our window! The hostess, Sheila, was so knowledgeable about the area - she had lots of great recommendations of where to visit. And the breakfast was great as well - the perfect way to start the day! Highly recommended!

It was generally a good stay. Older facility but in nice shape. The shower was so so, although good hot water. They didn’t take credit cards for payment, it had to be in cash. Be sure to get the eire code, or your gps will take you to the wrong place. Good breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was relaxing and the breakfast was generous. Hearing the sheep outside made it special. The location was gorgeous and the host was very helpful and welcoming!
