"There many positive elements to Hotel Stanford. The room size is definitely larger than most NYC hotel room in this price range. It has been renovated not too long ago and the improvements definitely show. The bed was super comfortable. They provide complementary bkfast and coffee in their 2nd fl lounge, which is quite comfortable. I did couple of zoom meetings at the lounge and it was good. The front desk staff was so helpful in helping us to check in early as we arrived after a red eye...

The location is safe and very walkable to shops, restaurants, and the subway. Only minor downside was needing to go downstairs to warm food, but overall we really liked it and would stay again."

"I had a fantastic experience with Public. Air Canada went on strike and only a few us arrived. We booked a suite and they accommodated us to a smaller room and refunded us for the bigger one. Unfortunately the first night, there were a couple fighting the room right next to us. And we told the hotel, they upgraded us to a nicer room the next day and also compensated us for the night before. And I had to stay one extra night and they just let me stay in the same room for a basic room price....
"LOVE this hotel! Stayed for three nights and couldn’t be more happy that I decided on this place. I was a little skeptical when I seen the size of the rooms when booking but like many other reviews stated it was highly efficient. It was, modern, unique, clean, bed was SO comfy and the view was incredible! Front desk staff was amazing as well!
