"Plane mechanical issues caused our flight from King Salmon to Anchorage to leave 4 hours later. We missed our connecting flight in Anchorage to Seattle. The airlines got a room for us at La Quinta as the next available flight out was late afternoon the next day. It was late at night, we were tired and the room was perfect. Made it to breakfast downstairs the next morning with 10 minutes to spare before it closed. La Quinta did us right when everything else was going wrong."

"The staff were ALL very accomodating and friendly, we are very well traveled and for the money this was the nicest hotel we ever stayed in...the continental breakfast was phenomenal and the facilities were fresh and clean, I'll givethem 8 out5 stars"

"Hotel was very clean. Close to the airport. Bed was very comfortable. They had a small coffee stand inside the hotel with good coffee, lattes, etc. They have a freezer if you need to store fish, however there were not able to accommodate us on the night the we stayed so we had to take our boxes to the airport to store it which was $24/box per night. Overall, we would stay again if we had to. Wish it hadn't of been so expensive ($500/nt). Definitely wasn't a $500/nt type of area or room. "
