"My kids and I went down to Kema for Mother’s Day weekend, and this is the perfect hotel to stay at. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk you do not have to pay for parking and there are tons of eating places and shops on your way to the boardwalk that occupy most of your time. It was perfect. "

"Wonderful stay at this property. House was clean and owner was easy to communicate with. Owner provided a lot of extra amenities as well. Very pleasant experience. The house is a two-bedroom house with a media room, living room, and large dining room. Kitchen was well stocked. The initial listing shows the house about 3 blocks closer to the boardwalk than it actually is. Still walkable if you don't mind a long walk. My family's preference was to drive due to the distance and we had our elderly mom/grandma with us. The house is phenomenal and there is plenty of parking at the boardwalk to drive down there."

"This was a family gathering. Most likely our Mom’s last trip with her kids. I can’t say enough good things about this property!! Every little touch was so nice. Charging cords everywhere, crab pots a plenty, and tons of fun games. I could stay here every time we venture to the Galveston area. Le has done a great job of maintaining this property in a harsh environment. It seems like he thought of everything. I highly recommend staying here with a big group. There is something for everyone!!!!"

"We came to Kemah in hopes of a nice getaway and some fun for the kids. Everything was great until bedtime, when we realized we were going to have a very loud and restless night. I realize we are responsible for researching our booking and making sure we cover all the bases. I felt that the description of this property was not accurate and the fact that we were on a street with 9 bars was hidden very well. The pictures of the outside were taken at angles that also hid this fact as well. The noise was so bad that we decided to end our trip early. My 8 year old son was terrified that someone was trying to get into his room and had bad dreams when he was sleeping. I contacted Bryan, the property manager and he was not helpful or understanding at all and just blamed us for not checking the property out more beforehand. I asked if we could be partially refunded for the night we did not stay so that we could book another night somewhere else. and he said he would “think about it” but I don’t think he intended to do anything about it. We ended up coming on home early. I think the details of this property need to be updated to include being close to “nightlife” and I don’t think children should be allowed to stay on a property like that. I think they should consider changing it to a property that doesn’t allow children. We have always had great experiences with vrbo until this time. We were very disappointed in this stay."

"Hotel Bliss in Kemah was incredibly affordable. Check-in was quick and easy with a sweet young lady who was polite and efficient. The room was spacious and very clean. Well stocked. A couple minutes drive to the Boardwalk area. Only drawback was traffic noise but that is unavoidable. I will definitely be back with hubby and our dog. "
