Not a lot to do there on winter evenings, but the town has an interesting mining history and they've done a lot to clean that up. Skiing there is awesome. The resort has some other options but we like query and solitude so we stayed away from there.

Take an hour and drive around the town as it's a historic mining town. Take the lift up the mountain. Support a local business. Then check out Wallace, about 15 minutes East.
"Well stocked with all the things that make a stay comfortable. Would have been nice to have shampoo & soap but it was nice having decent kitchen utensils and dishes, unlike a lot of place that go super cheap. Host was very responsive to inquiries and accommodating to adjustments. "

"Condo is warm and cozy, has a gas fireplace, great furniture, nice kitchen with all necessary utensils, area for coats and shoes and large bathroom. Easy to get to from the main entrance of the building. Access to luggage carts is so nice to have and the property is gated which makes you feel safer. "

"Everything was just as described. My husband was delighted to find a Kuerig coffee maker and pods. We were able to see fireworks from the balcony which was a bonus. The freeway being so close was not a problem. Good WiFi which was important to me. Walking distance to Sam’s which has great food. Would stay here again. "
"Not only is this a great little place that was super clean, but it’s already stocked with literally anything. You could possibly need down to the condiments and spices in the fridge and cabinets. There were extra pillows or extra blanket blankets games anything you could possibly need. Super easy access to town and the interstate for all your adventures. "
