"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the boathouse! Host was responsive and everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Just a couple minutes drive to downtown and within walking distance to a couple local bars. Neighborhood was quiet which was nice after having spent a busy day at Cedar Point. "

"My family, an 11 person group, (all connoisseurs' of vacation rentals) unanimously voted this as one of the worst rentals we have ever encountered. The property manager was quick to try and solve the problems, but there were so many it was impossible for her to right this wrong. Apparently the AC broke the minute we checked in on a 110 degree index day... but even after being repaired the next day we boiled in this house. Spiders and bugs and webs and bug filth everywhere! Bathroom doors that...

"The property was cute and quirky! We loved the 70s theme! It's an older house, with older house quirks, but it's very inviting and in a great location! Our daughter loved bedtime disco parties in the living room!"

"The staff is amazing and very nice. Every request we had they were able to help with. They brought extra pillows and blankets to our room when we asked. The room was very clean and tidy. The whole hotel smelled amazing. The pool and hot tub are very clean and relaxing. We will definitely be staying here again next time we go to Sandusky. "
