"Our stay at the kahena beach cottage was amazing. It was on the rainforest side, which gave us a wonderful "off the beaten path" experience and It was directly across from kahena beach, which is a nude beach so be mindful of that before bringing your kids and making the nude people uncomfortable ( watched this happen). "We stayed in this home for the full month of March 2025. We rated this a 10 based on our top three requirements: next to the ocean, clean, comfortable beds. This home met all three requirements. The ocean with its spectacular crashing waves, stunning views, and swimming turtles was wonderful. The sound of the waves at night along with the comfortable bed made for excellent sleeping. The home was clean and the two new area rugs were a nice update. However, as others have noted, this home would benefit from additional updates. For example, the couch is very uncomfortable. Our inquiries via email were answered promptly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
