"I was only here for an overnight layover, but I was very impressed with the room and property. I arrived into Iceland way too early to check in to the room so I decided to take a taxi from the airport and wait around until I was able to use the emailed code that the hotel sent me to access my room. While I was waiting, the cleaner asked if there was anything she could do for me and when I said I was just waiting to access my room, she immediately got the assigned room ready and let me enter early. I was extremely tired from an international flight and her kindness was extremely appreciated. Just because of the shared bathroom situation, I don't know if this is a place that I would stay in for more than just a couple of days, but for my long overnight layover, it was perfect. They were also able to call me a taxi in the morning which was very helpful. Overall, a good place for a long layover"

"The staff were welcoming, informed, supportive. The food (breakfast buffet and restaurant) was delicious. The interior design was opulent but also efficient. Housekeeping was meticulous. The location near the waterfront was a nice surprise."

"Absolutely great customer service. We arrived passed midnight our transportation provided by hotel was there. The person at the front desk was very informative and helpful. She went over and beyond to assist us as we had issues with an excursion we booked to blue lagoon through another site. Great all around. "
