"Having stayed here multiple times, I would say this is one of the best hotels in Japan. The breakfast is one of the best breakfast buffets and the hotel service is excellent. It is great to have a private balcony onsen at a reasonable price and with a very large room compared to other cities. The only inconvenience is that the hotel location is a bit far from the city centre, but you can easily get there via public transit or taxi with little traffic or delay.
I would suggest two things for...

"We enjoyed our stay here. The food was delicious. The service was attentive. We were just not used to how hot the Japan onsen was but it was nice to have two different area. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong tables and the vintage video game room. We enjoyed the dinner buffet, but the breakfast could be better.
The bedding - sleep mats were super thin and were hard to sleep on. We did asked for it to be double up to help with the hard floor. The front desk was able to arrange for this...
