"We were very happy with the place. Peaceful, nice, and close to everything. Well supplied kitchen, good barbecue, and way more beds than we needed. Place has a basketball hoop, a volleyball court, and enough green space to place soccer with a small group of people. The river is good for swimming, shallow in the shore but deep as you jump from the dock. Everything was clean and in working order. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay at this place."

The water is crystal clear, great swimming, even when it rained the one afternoon the lookout over the glass railing deck is exceptionally beautiful! "Cottage was really cute and cozy! We enjoyed our stay! Only thing that was not very clear from the listing is that the cottage is not directly on the water, but the access is very close by! About a 10-15 minutes walk from the village! We definitely enjoyed our relaxing time!"

"We very much enjoyed an impromptu weekend escape to this adorable little cabin. If we had wanted to cook more there was everything we needed. But we ate out and Bracebridge is nice and close. There was nothing we felt was missing. The weather wasn’t great so we ended up exploring up to Huntsville too. The cabin was immaculately clean. We would definitely stay again. Maybe next time the weather will cooperate and we can have a fire. The only recommendation I have is that more detail be included...

"The cabin was as expected, clean and cosy. It was the season of chilly nights but the heater kept the cabin warm, during the warmer days we enjoyed the outdoor furniture and park across the road. The location is good, between Lindsay and Peterborough both of which we explored."
