"If you are looking for a luxury resort this is not the place. The rooms are small and the location is a little dicey. However if you are looking for an affordable home base. A location between the north and south. My room was clean. Close to the airport but traffic at the airport at night is minimal. I spent very little time in the hotel. Sightseeing. The beaches, Waimea Canyon, sunsets at Kekaha Beach. I had a great stay. Once the lights are out, all rooms look the same."

"The Sheraton was our go-to when we evacuated Poipu due to hurricane Lowell. They were very accommodating providing food, water, etc even when no power was available in our room. Can’t say enough about how sweet the staff was during our stay, even though they were extremely shorthanded."
