"The hotel is clean, and the area is great. I didn't´t mind so much that there is not private toilette in the rooms. What bothered me a bit is that you here the other rooms quite well. But the big dissapointment was the service at the breakfast. I can understand that it is a "privat" hotel, and every guest goes to the one table in the kitchen, everything being a bit like invading someones home. "Loved the warm greeting from owner, and a great breakfast. Very comfortable bed in quite room overlooking town square and 1700's church. Good bathroom but small. Kitchen has good appliances, but no coffee making, and cups without handles so hot to hold. Short walk to bank and to main street including good quality low cost Italian restaurant! "The staff is super friendly, check in is easy and quick and all areas of the hotel are cosy, comfy and clean. We had a great stay. There is a indoor playground near by. "We had a lovely stay in Hamburg and really enjoyed staying on the Peisssnitz! It is very clean and the design is very modern. It has everything you need and it is close to public transportation to go out and enjoy the city. One thing that should be obvious but I didn't think of before arriving: the boat does move a little bit because it's on the water and when it is windy."
