"My family and I are much travelled, in my case for business and leisure. This was the best holiday resort hotel that I/we have ever stayed at! The location is supreme, there are views of the ocean from all rooms and as soon as you walk into the reception area, the backdrop is the ocean - it is stunning. There are so many highlights though: I have never been to a hotel where the staff are constantly cleaning, it was spotless. The facilities are excellent, there was plenty of space and everything that you needed - plenty of swimming pools as well as private pools for most rooms. The food quality was superb, fish, meat and vegan dishes. I read that the chefs are Michelin-starred and I can believe it. Note, that the lunch and evening meals were not buffet-style, you choose from a menu, however, that made the quality even higher in our opinion. The biggest highlight for us were the employees. We have never experienced such personal care anywhere else, from Dimitris the general manager, Michalis the restaurant manager, Thomas the operations manager and the incredible reception and client guest services team. Truly, nothing was ever too much for them, we became friends and they made us feel part of their family. A big mention to Sophia, Chrisa and Maria too! I can’t speak highly enough of them and the biggest tell, is that we can’t wait to go back!"

"Great place, wonderful swimming pools, spacious and clean rooms and beautiful landscaping. Only critical feedback is the lack of Greek dining options for lunch. More focused on burgers and hot dogs than gyros and good salads which is a shame. Buffet breakfast was good but average"

"Minos Palace is a gorgeous property with wonderful staff and top notch service. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi for us from and to the airport. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room with a nicer sea view, received a very warm welcome with a welcome drink and tour of the hotel. The food is excellent, every staff member is very friendly and attentive, and the amenities were fantastic - spa, restaurant, lounge area with live music & DJ, pool, beach, and wellness activities like yoga and sound baths. It's also a short walk to the town. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, and would easily stay here again. "One of those places one wishes to keep a secret. A place that’s beautiful day and night with a breathtaking view, open air sunset dinning and wonderful fresh food. Amazing breakfast buffet for every taste..The property is removed but at the same time located that the (fishing) village of Agios Nikolaos can be reached in walking distance. Best time MidMay to early June and mid-September to October before and after the turnover crowds arrive … and stay at least 10 days/2 weeks to allow 2 or 3 days for exploring the historical sights of Crete"

"Lovely resort, incredibly family friendly. Kids club is great if child is over 3 years old. Very relaxing stay, only downside is beach is quite rocky compared to others visited in Crete, but you can always use the pool. "
