"Staff were very attentive and helpful at all times. Breakfast well stocked and varied for even a fussy eater like me. The outdoor and indoor pools were clean and deck chairs and areas all clean and well looked after. Very good standard of cleanliness in main part. The room we had had very good amenities and was spacious. They do need updating as the bathroom was tired looking and the bedroom furniture. Lounge area of room had modern furniture. Bed and air conditioners were very good. Be warned...

"The Almyra is so good, we cut our stay at the Blue Lagoon short, to go back to the Almyra after staying there during the first half of our holiday. The Almyra is fantastically located, the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and efficient, treating everyone with courtesy. Marcus, who works at Almyra is an absolute delight and a fantastic character. He really made our stay, showing us around the hotel and always greeting us with a massive smile and hug. "Staff were polite and professional and couldnt help more! The bed was inceedibly comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot to watch the sunset and have a delicious cocktail. The cons which can easily be resolved: when checking in, if you dont know beforehand it can be a bit of a headache as you have to park ourside the hotel, go to reception, they will explain where the parking is and give you a number for the gates to open . There must be an easier way to let guests know the info upon...

"The hotel was a good standard. The pool Was quite small for the size of the hotel, but it was in the city. What let it down was breakfast. My husband had the vegetable omelet and found a cockroach. It was pointed out to the waiter but nobody came to apologise. A poor reaction which let the hotel down. "
