Although it's no fault of the hotel, GPS programs insist on directing you on tiny, steep lanes to bring you to and take you from the property. Highly recommended to not rely on GPS apps. This offers small town flavor near to Heraklion with plenty of tourist sites nearby, including Knossos. Breakfast was great. We had a few pre-season hiccups which the staff endeavored to solve. "Hotel Emi was lovely, right on the beach just a few kilometres north of Heraklion. The bed was comfy, breakfast really nice. The manager/owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our two night stay."

"The hotel was very unique. We had the hot tub upstairs but the private pools downstairs were nice. The beach is across the street and a variety of restaurants were close by. The hotel is very clean and quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony."

"This is a truly special property. Fantastic service, beautiful accommodations and a 3 minutes walk(downhill) to the beach. My only concern is that I booked and paid for a superior suite and was given a smaller room than I paid for. The room was enough space so I didn’t complain but I would have preferred to be informed and compensated for the smaller room. "

"The property owner allowed us to check in early, he was very friendly and helpful. The property is close to the beach, there are many restaurants close by and there is supermarket as well. The rooms were cleaned every 2nd day and all the staff was great. The only small problem we had was with the wifi . but generally this was a great apartment and amazing holiday"
