"The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and has a delightful secluded back garden. It is located in a beautiful part of rural Crete with magnificent views of the White Mountains. We particularly enjoyed doing the many local walks. Booklets and maps were provided in the cottage and made following the trails very easy. There are many bars and restaurants in nearby villages which provide very affordable and delicious food and a very warm welcome. Not to be missed is a visit to nearby Vamos...

"The place is located in a beautiful hilltop with a great view. Inside it is equipped with a decent kitchen. The host is lovely. However it has no internet so you have to rely on a local phone network which is not great because you are in the mountains. Just something to know beforehand. I had to work and had to go to Kalyves when I had meetings. But other than that we enjoyed the great views and the small villages in the area."
