Nice hotel. Very helpful staff however few problems with showers sinks etc. Food was a bit tasteless also. I would stay again as it's one of the best hotels in the area of Tamel.
The biggest disappointment was the Resevation and Introduction note stated the the Airport transport was free. I was charged 1,500 R for the transport service.
It is just a hotel. Not very suitable for older people since second floor can only be reached by stairs. I have a leg injury, so it was not the most convenient for me. Everything else is on a better side of Nepalese standards.
Many food choices on the menu, nice garden outside and very friendly and helpful stuff, but dirty floor in the room and one day we had a problem with hot water

The overall stay was ok with good hospitality from hotel staff
I like the staff, they are very helpful, polite and friendly.I also appreciate the SPA facilities connected to the hotel. Even the Sauna was wonderful. We also enjoyed the breakfast with a lot of options. The variety of warm dishes was good, but I would have enjoyed to have mote traditional dishes at breakfast. The food variety was adjusted to western tourists and had a lot of unnecessary sweet cakes, instead I had wished they to have fresh variety of bread. That had made the breakfast menu excellent! They also play calming meditative music in the restaurant. Coffee was so good! There are bakeries in Kathmandu and in Rocka Guesthouse we were provided with fresh bread every morning from their own bakery. But our overall stay, with the possibility to walk and eat dinner in many nice places, cafes and restaurants and small shops nearby.

Good location and rooms
Good enough hotel in the busy city of Kathmandu.
The location is good eveything is within walking distance.
The room are really clean and comfortable. The rooftop view was a nice add on. The breakfast had a large variety to choose from. The location was really convenient and close to everything. The staff was really friendly and helpful in every way. A real plus was the free one way airport transfer. You don’t get that in many hotels. I would definitely stay there again if I ever went back to Nepal. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
Location is perfect, close to the Thamel are but still quiet at night. Excellent staff, great facilities on site, bar restaurant spa and shops. Couple of things needed fixing in the room which they did straight away.
