The river view. There used to be large koi fish in the river that you can see right from the rooms, now they are further up the stream. The place is well kept, very clean. It rained for 2 days when we were visiting, I love that they had shoe dryer available. I also left my shoes on the shoe shelves and they were able to locate it and deliver to me in Tokyo the next day. I’m so grateful. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Japan. "

"Great place for families visiting Shimoda and Izu Peninsula. Definitely a hotel catering to Japanese tourists, but with a little Japanese and respect the staff is very friendly and works with you. Some of the staff spoke some English. Bathhouse, arcade, and hotel amenities were great. Walking distance to everything downtown and easy spot to drive to other locations. Would definitely stay here again with family on vacation. "
