My wife has Celiac, and we enjoyed the "half board" plan. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant for 8 days, and she didn't get glutened even once! A great plan for people who need to eat gluten free. The chefs were extremely helpful, and all the wait staff were knowledgeable. Yes, it's a small climb back up to the hotel, but their shuttle to the beach every half hour helps a lot. Can't wait to stay here again the next time we visit Phuket!"

"We had a fantastic time at Grand Kata with our 3 kids aged 8-13. The staff were lovely and helpful. Buffet breakfast was varied and had something for everyone. The pools were clean and not crowded. We had fhe Level 1 pool to ourselves each time we went. We stayed in the 3 bedroom double story and it was spacious, clean, comfortable beds and perfect for the 5 of us. The hotel provided umbrellas in the room. Pool towels, beach towels, bottled water each day. Location was excellent. Close to restaurants, the Kata night walking market, massages, braids, money exchange were all at the doorstep. The beach was 500m away and an easy walk, however it’s worth the walk to the opposite end of the beach as its a bit nicer to the south. We would definitely return and recommend to others. "

"We recommend paying the extra for the pool access room which was nice. The pool is massive though on the cooler side compared to other pools in Thailand. We were able to check in early, which was appreciated. There are many food options nearby and the buffet breakfast was fine."
