As a group of independent tavellers me and my friends chose to discover the Lycian region of Turkey. We came through this amazing villa on the web and that was like a thunderbolt. We immediately felt in love with the interior design and booked it. Once we arrived, the house was unpredictably better than it appears on the photos. A beautiful smell of cedar wood among the refined, authentic and colorful decoration - beside the ever smiling people who welcomed us - immediately put us into a very special atmosphere. The villa is clean, very well equipped and spacious. Although we were 10 of us, we could still enjoy a beautiful privacy. Rooms are very large, so the bathrooms and the beds the most comfortable we ever slept in. From the top roof terrace we could enjoy the most stunning view of the Kalamar bay, with its little islands and the beautiful turquoise color of the mediterranean sea. That was our best spot to enjoy drinks during the sunset. With our big surprise a nice complimentary welcome pack was offered to us, water, bread, breakfast stuff and a bottle of wine we used to celebrate our first top terrace evening happy hour. as far as the house charme, the location is lovely, 5 minutes walking from the best beach clubs, up to 10 minutes walking from the shopping markets, nice little boutique restaurants and cafés. That was the perfect location for our staying, as well as the efficient and precious tips and 24h assistance our hosts gave us to discover the unspoiled corners of the region. Kalkan itself is a pearl among the most touristic areas nearby, cosmopolitan and cool from where we came back with a bigger heart. Thank you guys, see you next year! Eleonora & co.
