"A nice old castle with large rooms next to a small village not for from Annecy. Surrounding mountains and nature are stunning. Parking is easy and free. On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. "the staff were friendly and the room was good. i did feel that for the price for the room, paddle boards should be free to use and maybe they can have a few more available. also, same with the bikes. offering some complimentary evening snack or something would also be good. four star places include breakfast or these type of things to make it an elevated experience beyond just a hotel in a good location. the sauna was nice and the outdoor small pool was closed when we wanted to use it. also more...
