The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the Castle and other interesting sights. The staff were wonderful, kind and considerate. The communal sitting area is lovely and I was plied with tea all afternoon. The place is really warm which as a February visitor was important. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back for sure.

Russian built 19th century town house

Very quiet and comfortable old building very close to the castle and handy for central town. Excellent breakfast included in the price. As far as I could tell, nobody spoke much English, but that didn't really matter - very few people round here do, but one manages to get by.

Lovely historical place.

Overall really good. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were large and comfortable. The staff were nice and tried I help when they could . Breakfast was nice. Lots of variety and lots of fruit. We are in the garden which was very very pretty. I would stay again.

Otel konumu ve özellikleri ile çok güzel. Ancak gittiğimizde sular tamamen çamurlu kahverengi akıyordu, duş alamadık. Bir gece konakladığımız için fazla sorun olmadı ama özellikle kış gibi yoğun sezonlarda zor olabilir.

La chambre au dernier étage est trop chaude, petite fenêtre donc impossible de réduire la température de la chambre via l'air extérieur. l'hôtel est vraiment une page d'histoire mais devrais vraiment se moderniser surtout pour que l'on puisse bien dormir l'été.

Hijyen sorunu

Otelde daha önce konaklamış olan misafirlerin yorumlarına ve otelin tarihi yapısının güzelliğine bakarak rezervasyonumuzu yaptırdık. Otelin mimarisinin güzelliğinin aksine hijyen konusundaki oldukça zayıf tutumları sebebiyle seyahatimiz oldukça keyifsiz bir hal aldı. Havlu, nevresim ve yastık yüzlerindeki lekeler, kötü koku, önceden kullanılmış olma şüphesini uyandıracak derecedeydi. Konaklamada en temel husus olan hijyen konusu, konaklamadaki diğer her şeyden daha önce gelen asgari bir şart olduğu için Kars deneyimimizi çok olumsuz etkiledi. Kahvaltısı ile ilgili bir sorun yoktu, ancak hizmet görevlisinin maske takmıyor olması, otelin salgın hastalık dönemindeki önlemlere bakış açısını gösterdi. Yanısıra, otelin konumu oldukça iyiydi, merkeze yakın olup, sessiz olan bir konumdaydı. Böylesine güzel mimariye sahip olan tarihi bir binada, bu kadar zayıf bir konaklama hizmeti verilmesi bizi üzdü.

Gezi için gelmiştik bu otele normal şartlarda ili gece olarak kalıcaktık ama odaya girdiğimizde gördüğümüz manzara bizi şaşırttı bu yüzden tek gece olarak konakladık temizlik adına hiç bir şey yoktu oda nun kokusu da cabası sıfır memnuniyetle otel den ayrıldık

Odamızda temizlik ile ilgili bir problem yaşadık be anında odamız değiştirildi. Personel çok ilgili ve güleryüzlü. Sıcak ve ferah. Tarihi bir bina olması da ayrıca artı. Kars olacak ise standart otel yerine herzaman tercih edeceğim bir otel.

İlk olarak karşılama çok iyiydi çok ilgli ve kibar davrandılar. Otel, bina olarak tarihi bir bina olması ve buna uygun restore edilmesiyle oldukça hoş bir yapıda. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü, kibar ve ilgiliydi konaklama boyunca. Otelin konumu da şehir merkezine ve tarihi yerlere yürüme mesafesinde. Pandemi dolayısıyla açık büfe kahvaltı olmasa da verilen kahvaltı tabağı doyurucuydu ve yiyecekler lezzetliydi. Tekrar yolumuz Kars'a düşerse yine tercih edeceğimiz otel burası olacaktır.

Iconic historic hotel

Historic hotel in a beautiful hotel in a historic building that uses to be a hospital. Everything is turn of the century and authentic looking. Walking distance to the castle and best restaurants.

The location of the hotel and the city of Kars is magnificent however breakfast was very sloppy. Even Kars is a cheese heaven, I don't think that hotelkeeper is eating the same cheese as they serve. Probably you can stay better places with this cost if you weren't in Kars. Make shift and enjoy the city.
