"Will not let you check in early, despite rooms being ready. This was very disappointing as we had just climbed down from a two day hike of Mt Fuji and had to wait in their uncomfortable lobby for over 2 hours for pretty much no reason. Cold breakfast, tiny rooms & bathrooms, hard bed, worst pillows i’ve ever seen. Staff was very kind. Property is just not good. Location is nice & walking distance to many places. I’ve stayed in much more comfortable & accommodating hotels in Japan. "
