"Great location. Everywhere you want to go is walkable. Great dining /drink choices all over. Tons of shopping right out the door. Very personable staff who were always amenable and accommodating. Charming rooms. However, its all wood interior, with big room doors that are noisy. And any noise in the halls outside your room is loud, and echoed. Every night I had issues with people banging doors, or having discussions in the hall that they don't believe are loud, but unfortunately were. I didnt...

"Kyria was a superb location on a pedestrian street - right next to the Acropolis with stunning views from the rooftop where breakfast was served. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Accommodations were small but with all the amenities needed for a stay in the heart of Plaka !! I would recommend Kyria for your Athens stay"

"Location of the property is in an alley so a big van or shuttle would not be able to drop you off directly. The property is center of a lot of bars and restaurants. The only issue are the elevators. It's small (can fit 1 person and 1-2 luggage at a time) and it can take awhile to get down if you have a lot of luggages. Overall the staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again."

Of course, there is noise because of the nearby bars and restaurants, but you should expect that if you’re staying in the heart of Athens. Even then, our sleep was not disturbed (like other reviews say). Overall we enjoyed our stay here and loved the convenience of walking everywhere and having everything nearby. Highly recommend. "
