"Lovely area to explore, close to some great towns and attractions including heaps of wineries. Apartment was very spacious and extremely clean. Hosts happy to share their local knowledge which is always appreciated. Even though it was the a hot day 39 degrees the apartment was still nice and cool upon our return. Nice little outdoor area to enjoy as well. Highly recommend staying at this apartment."

"Lovely accommodation food really good and great choice of breakfast. The only fault we had is with parking, after having driven 7 hours we found nowhere to park. We had to park on pavement across road, don't rely on parking being available. I think the great location and setting meant other non residents used the hotel parking."

Small and perfectly formed

"It's the almost perfect hotel for us. Gentle stroll into the town. Small, family run, plain tasteful decor, high quality linen. It almost seems churlish to make any criticism. It's a while since we have been but it's good to see everything is as we remembered it . Above all there are no pets "

Great gem

"Lovely hotel in the centre of town with free parking in the local town centre car park. Great junior suite. Food in Olive restaurant was tasty and plentiful. Breakfast in the cafe was nicely set out and had more options than was expected for continental breakfast. Would definitely stay there again."

"Wir waren schon oft im Eichwald zu Besuch, aber in diesem Häuschen noch nicht. Es war ein Erlebnis für sich, wunderbar und liebevoll dekoriert, die Mädels waren hellauf begeistert von ihrer Prinzessinnenkemenate, eine sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieterin, alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. "Shabby chic hotel, which kind of fits into the environment. This was the second time we stayed here as it’s a perfect overnight stop for us. Yes it needs updating, bathroom decor late 70s, early 80s but all in all, good value for money. Hotel is in a great location for walking, cycling and hiking."
