"If you are looking for a nice, clean hotel with good staff"

"The grounds were beautiful and immaculate. The desk staff was friendly and helpful when the desk was open, which was only from 8am-7pm. This was inconvenient because if you needed anything beyond those times they had you call security. I wanted a simple coffee pod in the morning not assistance for security. They did no housekeeping while we were there and our floor got very messy due to sand and other things we brought in on our shoes. We could not walk barefoot after a few days. Perhaps they...

"This hotel is a bit tired but has a fabulous view. The room is dated and needs paint, but everything was clean. As noted, the view, especially for sunrise was great. The desk staff were very helpful and nice. Borrowed a cruiser for the beach trail - same vein… trail was fantastic but bike was definitely tired. Made a nice ticking noise every pedal rotation- good for alerting walkers you’re coming. 😂 On the mainland, I would have been upset by how much I paid for the night, but what are you...

"Wr arrived after the big hurricane. Make sure everything is open before traveling."

"Hot tub and pool was great. Location is great. But needs to improve cleaning. The unit is old and roaches are everywhere."

"Staff can use a customer service training. Staff is not friendly. The people in the front are rude and don’t have basic manners like greeting you. The only people who are friendly in the whole hotel are the people in the valet. Rooms also don’t get clean every day but every other day. Overall not a bad place to stay but I would explore other options first."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Birthday Stay Ever! 🌺 We had the absolute best stay at Hale Hokuala Kauai! The hotel is absolutely breathtaking, extremely clean, peaceful, and secluded, making it feel like your own little paradise. The amenities are fantastic, and there’s even a beach access path right next to the hotel. The location is perfect because you feel tucked away, yet you’re conveniently located near everything on the island. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to...

"Room was nice. TV was a little funky. Lots of peacocks in the morning."

"Basic model with a fridge, wifi, and free parking. Food is excellent at the restaurant!"

"Allowed us to check in early with a little bit of wait. Enough towels to accommodate everyone in our party. Good size kitchen and fridge. One of the AC filters needed to be changed."

"The place is beautiful but it was not a super clean resort. The rug was stained and the outside just felt dirty. Everything else was good"

"I was never aware that this was a private rental and I had no access to the resort activities"
