"The location is great. Right by the beach, centrally located to all the attractions. Pool and pool area are great too. The rest in my opinion falls short of the 4 star, $500+ per night (with all the taxes and fees) hotel. I would give it 3.75 stars but there is no such option. Some areas are dated. You can tell the hotel tries to maintain them by painting stuff over but it shows. For me the worst were supply and return grills for the A/C unit. Very dirty. We actually had been turning the A/C off as much as we could so we would not breathe in the dust!! Thankfully the wonderful ocean breeze helped :) Breakfast buffet is decent but it falls short of the Marriott's standards. Some more daily variety would be nice."

"We loved the property and the process for checkin and checkout was seamless. The unit was clean and very attractive. We would/will definitely consider renting again. Excellent location right next to the Coconut Marketplace for food and shopping choices. The Passion Cafe which we love is also just a short walk away. Thank you Linda we were very pleased with everything you provided."

"Our stay at Kapaa Sands 2 was absolutely incredible from booking to check out. It was hard to leave this darling home right on the beach with all of the amenities that make up the perfect beach house. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit again. The location on the beach, quiet condo community with a pool, well kept grounds, easy parking in the town of Kapaa- walking distance to great restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and great beach for boogie boarding cannot be matched!"
