"Disappointing stay. The deck overlooking the Kunene River which is featured in the advertisement for the property is stunning. However, nothing else lived up to these expectations. Our booking showed a hotel room and when we arrived we were shown to what was apparently a "guides" room. The room was small, dark and dingy and was closed with a lock on a latch. For the less money at other locations in the area we received a far better deal. We asked to be moved as this was not good for the amount...

"Auch wenn man am A.... der Welt übernachtet sollten doch einige wichtige Details in der Unterkunfttsbeschreibung nicht fehlen. Es gibt keine Steckdose in den Bungalows! Der Ventilator ist ein ganz einfaches Standgerät ohne tatsächliche Wirkung. Das Wasser im Pool und auch im Zimmer (Waschbecken und Dusche) stammt direkt aus dem Kunene, kaltes Wasser gibt es nicht. Wasser zum Zähneputzen wird nicht kostenlos gestellt. Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte in der Lodge und verließen sie mit...

"We stayed in a dome tent that had really comfortable beds provided and the leaves spread on the towels just made the welcome more incredible. Camping in style! The food at the restaurant was served next to the river at sunset - just wow."
