"This place was very nice, in a great location across from the station. It’s a bit dated but well kept up, so there are features that are now quaint like the clock radio in the headboard of the bed. The room was nice and room with a huge tub. Breakfast was ok but not special. "

Breakfast offered the widest range of Japanese dishes of any hotel we stayed at (all good quality and some dishes different each day) with local specialities like soba, a selection of fresh tempura including shrimp and asparagus and much more. There is a welcome drink (beer, whisky, soft drinks - one free each day - and free late night soup too. A nice onsen bath too."

"Japanese business hotels offer small, clean, affordable rooms. These are great for internationals who want to meet Japanese people. My sibling Americans sometimes complain about small rooms.
