Uninterrupted Sunset, Ocean and Golf Course Views from our Lanai and Interior

Please be aware we only rent to a maximum of two guests at a time.

The Mauna Kea Beach Resort has remodeled the main tower and the golf course. Phase 2 is the fitness center/spa/hotel wing on the grass through early third quarter 2025, The Hapuna Westin Resort golf course will be remodeled starting on September 2025 .

By joining the Mauna Kea Beach Club, you have access to both Hapuna Westin Resort and the world famous Mauna Kea Beach Hotel with championship golf courses, oceanside tennis, swimming pools with beach views, fitness centers, spa and salon, wide range of bars and dining experiences and two of the finest beaches in the world.

Our condo was the model unit and has the best view in the development. All of the furnishings are like new and very clean. The upstairs end unit provides for privacy, but is not appropriate for the very young or the very old, as there is no elevator. We just installed a new reverse osmosis water filtration system, so bring your canteens for healthy water! There is also a new SubZero refer, new microwave, new dishwasher and a Weber BBQ on the lanai. There are also three new smart television sets.

The master bedroom has a view of the ocean and has a king sized bed with walk in closet, separate shower, tub and throne room.

The second bedroom has a king size bed and separate bathroom with shower.

The 400 square foot furnished Lanai is another reason to lease this unit. With unobstructed views of the sunset, ocean and golf course with a reflecting pond, it will take your breath away!

The Owner will prepare the Lease and email it you. Please review, scan and return the signed Lease to the Owner for access to the Premises. If you desire to join The Club at Mauna Kea, the Owner will submit your info and The Club will email you a link for your application 3-5 days prior to your arrival.

Great condo, great location

We have stayed in four different condos in the Kumulani development at the Mauna Kea Resort, and this unit was superior. It was comfortable, well appointed, and the sunsets were terrific. The Weber gas BBQ was easy to use and eating on the lanai was pleasant as we watched the sun go down. Having the Osmosis water feature was a real bonus as this is the first trip we did not need to purchase drinking water. We used it every day for tea and coffee. Although the Beach Club privileges are really getting expensive, we did enjoy using them. The Muana Kea hotel and swimming pool areas are in the beginning stages of an extensive remodel, so several amenities were not available during our stay, and the construction noise was challenging to ignore. We spent more time at the Hapuna Westin beach and pool due to this disruption. We plan to stay in this same unit again.

Amazing Sunsets

Unit was as described. Quiet, end of the street location overlooking the golf course and ocean with sunset views from the lanais. Well stocked kitchen. Communication with the owner was easy. Would definitely stay here again on next trip to the Big Island.

Best Views, Best Beaches, and the best time to go!

We've stayed at several units in the Kumulani area and found this one had the best views of the ocean, sunsets, golf course. Everything was immaculate, checkin was clear and easy, the owner got right back to us when we had questions. We were comfortable and happy during our stay. The renovations going on at the Mauna Kea were not an issue and it's actually a really nice time to go as the hotel has very limited guests and the beach is not crowded. Complimentary use of all the snorkel gear, paddle boards, kayaks, and a 30 minute outrigger canoe tour included with the Residential Guest package. Even after a 4 week stay it was still hard to go home.

Big Island Perfection

Our stay was perfect in every way. This condo was so thoughtfully decorated and supplied with every possible need. You can tell the owners love this place and want you to truly feel like their guests. Having close access to golf, tennis and the beach was perfect. We will definitely come back.

Mauna Kea Kumulani

A most wonderful vacation on the Big Island overlooking Hapuna Golf Course with the blue pacific is the distance. A quick ride to the beach and beauty of Mauna Kea. With lots to explore our 10 days was over too soon. The condo was spacious and comfortable. And the wrap around deck at sunset was a real thrill.

5 Stars all the way!

My husband and I have been visiting Big Island for the last 21 years. This condo was the nicest unit we have ever rented in all of the Hawaiian islands. The owners have decorated and equipped this home beautifully. If you enjoy cooking, you will appreciate all of the amenities in the kitchen. The beds and linens are top notch and the AC works great. The furniture on the lanai is very comfortable with a large fan to keep you cool and a nice BBQ. One of the very best things about the location of this Kumulani unit is the view of the sunsets from the lanai. We made sure to be on the lanai every night at sunset hour. The owners also have an easy to use music system to hook up to your phone. There are 3 nice televisions in the unit, but we never turned one on, we just enjoyed the beautiful views around us. We loved being able to spend time and swim at the beach everyday, mostly at the Mauna Kea and we enjoyed many lunches and a couple of dinners at the hotel restaurants. We hope to be able to return to Kumulani A 4 soon. Mahalo!

Lovely condo!

Aloha! Condo is exactly as pictured. Simply gorgeous sunsets, located in great area, close to many things. Beautiful quite area. Sutton gives a superb list of places to visit, things to do and places to eat. Visit area beaches as they are some of the best in the world. Many sites to see and great shopping. We had a wonderful stay and was well worth the money. Would definitely stay here again. Mahalo to the Roleys!

Excellent accommodations, gorgeous views!!!

This suite was spacious and equipped with so many amenities. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every imaginable cookware, dishware, condiments, etc. The appliances are top of the line…Viking and Kitchen Aid. The lanai offered amazing, peaceful views of the golf course to the ocean, with GORGEOUS views of the very star filled night sky. It was extremely private after the morning golfers were finished. We were completely pleased with our stay!!!

Great Rental

A wonderful place for a vacation. The property was as listed and well stocked. It was really nice to have access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna amenities as well as all the space of your own condo. Of course we had to pay extra for the hotel amenities but it was well worth it. I would recommend this rental to anyone.

The property was exactly as described. Anything we could have wanted or needed was in the condo. Amazing sunsets every night from the lanai. Easy and straight forward rental process. Wonderful stay

My husband and I had a great stay in this condo - it exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable, spacious, great view and had everything and more of what we needed in the kitchen. Very relaxing to come back to after a day of snorkeling/beach. Highly recommend if looking for quiet and comfort!
