"One of the finest resorts I've been to while not being overly lux and reasonably priced. Helpful smiling staff. Amazing food quality and variety. Well appointed quiet rooms. Vacant beach! A huge nature reserve adjacent, worth exploring with trained guides on premises."

"Cheerful, efficient and helpful staff. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean and provided fresh sheets every day. Coffee bar was replenished every day. The front office staff were cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in and check-out accomplished within 5 minutes. Breakfast spread was sufficiently comprehensive. Just need to replenish finished items promptly during peak period. Good spread of bread, pastries and kuih kuih. The hotel could do with 24-hour room service for late arriving guests. It was a very pleasant 4-day stay at this hotel. "

"Nice spacious rooms and good views over the sea. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight negatives was tgat the bars clided at 10pm which is a littke early, and some of the "hot" breakfast items were not kept that hot. But overall thoroughly recommend the Grandis when staying in Kota Kibabalu and we would not hesitate to stay again."
