"Our stay at The Classic Shima Kanko Hotel was excellent. From arrival to departure this 5-star hotel provided excellent courteous service. Our suite room was clean, comfortable and modern, providing all the comforts anyone would expect in a luxury hotel. The only small inconvenience with our room was the toilet is located by the entrance to the room and not near the bathroom (sinks, shower and bathtub).
As far as dining, the hotel has a breakfast buffet with a great selection of Western and Japanese style dishes. All delicious and nicely presented. There are also restaurants that provide fine dining cuisine.
A few things to note: 1. There are no covered parking areas located near the hotel entrance. All parking areas are remote. Definitely a hassle in rainy weather. 2. There is no in house laundry service. 3. Check out time (11:00 A.M.) can be busy and slow.
The Classic Shima Kanko Hotel is an exceptional choice for luxury accommodations in Shima. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again in the future."
