The charming Geißberghaus, a holiday home with a historic ambience, is located in Unterweid, a district of Kaltennordheim in the middle of the border triangle of Hesse, Bavaria and Thuringia in the Thuringian Rhön biosphere reserve. It is particularly suitable for a holiday with family or a group of friends. Nature lovers can explore the beautiful surroundings with romantic valleys, moorland and unique flora and fauna while hiking or cycling. Excursion destinations include: Rhönwald adventure world (2 km), Fladungen open-air museum (12 km), Rhön star park in Geisa (14 km), Wasserkuppe (15 km), Trusetal dwarf park (32 km) and the Bad Hersfeld monastery ruins (38 km). A pettel stove in the living area creates a pleasant atmosphere and the cozy seating area in the natural garden invites you to linger and rewind. Here you will find rest and relaxation after an active day of vacation.

Vi hade en fantastisk tid på Geißberghaus, Huset var super charmigt och hade denna historiska känsla som gjorde det speciellt, Vi älskade trädgården, perfekt för att koppla av efter en dag av vandring i de vackra omgivningarna, Köket var välutrustat, så vi lagade några måltider och njöt av BBQ-kvällar utomhus, Bara en heads up, WiFi var lite långsamt ibland, men ärligt talat spelade det inte så stor roll eftersom vi var där för att koppla av, Skulle definitivt komma tillbaka med vänner!

Notre séjour au Geißberghaus a été absolument délicieux ! Le charme historique de la maison associé à la belle jardin naturel en a fait une escapade parfaite, Nous avons passé nos journées à explorer le monde d'aventure de Rhönwald à proximité et sommes rentrés pour nous détendre près du poêle à pettel dans le salon confortable, Les enfants ont adoré jouer dans le jardin, et nous avons apprécié la cuisine bien équipée pour nos repas en famille, Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour des vacances en famille !

Das Geißberghaus ist ein Juwel! Wir liebten die historische Atmosphäre und wie sauber alles war, Der Wohnbereich war geräumig, perfekt für unsere Familien-Spieleabende, Es gibt auch einen schönen Essbereich, der das Essen angenehm machte, Obwohl das Wetter während unseres Aufenthalts nicht perfekt war, haben wir immer noch gerne die nahegelegenen Attraktionen wie die Wasserkuppe erkundet, Würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
