The spa is from 7am till 10 or 11pm, so very helpful to those arriving late. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the piano playing in the bar. The room (double) was spacious. "

"Lovely hotels with wonderful rooms and all the basic amenities. Would recommend staying as long as you like exercise because the key cards demagnetize if you look at them wrong — they must be praised and cajoled and need never be near anything that lets off the slightest electronic signal or you’ll be back downstairs to rekey the card yet again — 3 night stay and I think I had to do it about 8 times this trip. Staff is wonderful and lovely and the sushi is divine "

"The one thing we found that was slightly off-putting was that the photos on-line are designed to make the hotel look new, modern and spacious, when in fact it's a beautifully restored older building with smaller bedrooms, tiny elevators, and lovely winding staircases. There's enough modern hotels go around. Please brag about this lovely unique hotel on the waterfront of the Aussen-Alster See."

"Beautiful Hotel, the first guy at the front desk was friendly, helpful, other front desk not too friendly. At breakfast time one lady is always watching you, what you eat, what you do, you feel like you’re doing something wrong when you get up to get your food, it’s a buffet, she came to us in a bad way to tell us , to do not use the glass cups to serve yogurt, because it’s going to be difficult for them to wash the glass. Check out, do it on time because you have to make a line and wait for...
