"Farrr from the beach, don't know why there are pictures of the water on the site. 20 minute drive from the airport, atleast. Not much natural light at all. Nice outdoor space. If you're planning on cooking, brings your own supplies. There is not even salt, pepper or oil in the flat. If you're looking for a rood over your head, it does a great job. More than that, I suggest looking for a more functional and spacey place?"

"This is a very nice property. My family stayed there one night before our flight home because it’s close to the airport. Very quiet neighborhood. Our only issue was that the shower had very little hot water. I contacted Dina and she said it was solar powered and she turned on the electric heater which fixed the problem."

"Perfect location - walking distance to the Acropolis, National Gardens, modern Olympic stadium, Monument to the Unknown Soldier/Evzones, and amazing restaurants and shops! Short walk from the Acropoli metro station, which is how we got to the home from the airport. The home was just as shown in the listing, and had a great selection of movies and books. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Athens."

"The apartment was clean and well enough appointed. The washer/dryer was very helpful. Beds were comfortable. Be prepared for street noise at all hours… but the location can’t be beat. Very convenient for food, shopping, hop on/off buses, walk to the Acropolis and other sites. Owner was always quick to reply and helped with everything we needed."

"We had such a nice time in a traditional neighborhood. We ate at a locally owned family restaurant and also went to the neighborhood bakery- both were fantastic! We spent most of our time relaxing in the garden which was lovely and cool. Hosts were fantastic and even arranged a cab to the port for our cruise and walked us to the restaurant. Great hospitality!"

"We loved Villa George! It was such a fun place for all of us, and especially the children. Lots of toys and activities. A very cheerful and happy atmosphere. This reflects the delightful host George who could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Everything was spotless and we had all that we needed. The town is pleasant with a pretty beach, and we enjoyed visiting the Marathon battle site and classic race route. Highly recommend! "

"We liked staying in the apartment versus a hotel because we felt more a part of a neighborhood. The location is absolutely perfect! An easy walk to everywhere. We bought a 3 day Hop on Hop Off ticket and were able to see the beaches and Piraeus. We used the bus as transport to the cruise port and that saved us a separate taxi ride. The main air conditioner didnt seem to work but we were able to use the one in the bedroom. There were no washcloths, a small inconvenience. We would recommend it and...

"Everyday we took a cold shower. I asked if the washing machine is working and the owner stated it was. When I got there and used it the machine was not working. The owners mother called for service on top of that she was expecting me to pay for it. The shower door was broken and fell on my mother. When I told the owners mother that the door was broken she said yes the last tenant broke it. Just take a shower carefully. The light bulb in the bathroom was broken also. "We had a great stay for our short soujourn in Athens before heading to the islands. The location is awesome with its location next to Plaka and lots of amenities around it. Having a whole house for my family was perfect. Having a washer was a great convenience too. Would definitely pick this place to stay again."
