"We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The ocean view from the room was peaceful, and bed was comfy. Bedding was also clean, so we slept very well! Breakfast was delicious too. There were homemade bread, lamb pate, various fruits and so on. We had dinner at their restaurant. It was a bit pricy but grilled lamb was very tasty! We’d love to come back again :)"

"Our experience with this location to be a good one. The room was fine, the WC was nearby and all was good. The breakfast was very good and they were dealing with two buses of people, including a really rude female tour guide that barged into the kitchen and was making what we felt were unjustified complaints and demands. we have travelled by ourselves and with small group tours and have never had a tour guide act so inappropriately - fussing and being rude about non-issues. The hotel staff handled it respectfully. We would stay here again."

"Kind manager who provided a lovely breakfast. The heart waffles were delicious! The number of washrooms at times could be a little annoying, but having a sink in the room was such a help that it was quite bearable. "

"This place is a hidden treasure! We booked because we were looking for an affordable place not far from the glacier lagoon. Price was great, and we had a truly breathtaking view of a glacier from our room and lots of cute sheep in the fields nearby. One of the most beautiful places we stayed in Iceland. Buffet style breakfast was included (with more stunning views from the restaurant area). They have a restaurant and bar on site but we went into Höfn for dinner, about 20 minutes away by car, and hotel staff provided us with excellent recommendations."

"Such a quaint place surrounded by water mountains and sheep. Loved the location. We had dinner and dessert here and it was delicious. Breakfast was a nice spread also. Breakfast wasn’t included but maybe around $15. Only negative was how hot the room felt and would have slept better with thicker curtains to block out the light. "
