"Beach view amazing and set up great; however cleaniness not too great. Needs improvement. Bathroom had a bad smell like if cleaned with cheap ingredients and wet smelly rag and around the vanity area there was a black rim of not good cleaning . Bedding was the worst, it had a smell like feet like when the clothes were left a whole day in the washer and was dried the next day. It was unbearable, but luckily there were extra sheets in the room but the smell wasn't that great either but better. The air conditioner drips and it is right above bed so while sleeping you might get a drop of water. If the cleaning and bedding were diferente it would have been awesome"

"The pool is lovely in the evenings. We bbq’d our pineapple. The room we had was awesome with myself having the private room of the suite. Close to beaches and overall very nice. Would stay here again."

"We love Papakea and have stayed many times, but this particular unit, F101, was not up to the standards of other units. While ocean front is nice, the inside needs a serious update. There are cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and the furniture in the living room is scratched up and not comfortable to sit on. The A/C unit is not strong enough to push air into the bedroom which was the hottest part of the unit. There are no extras in the unit, like beach chairs or boogie boards which other units have. The curtains in the living room look very dingy in appearance and they did not match the ones on the sliding glass door. Everything else about this resort is perfect."
