"Nice property but everything was extra. Pool towels had to be paid for. Chairs on the beach weren’t included and cost money too as well as the chairs on the grassy area of the property. Those things should have been included in your stay instead of you being hunted down by the chair enforcers."

"Great location. Super friendly staff. Kept the rooms clean. Did I mention great location. Breakfast was actually decent. A/C could use an upgrade. Beds were reasonable comfortable."

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."

"Staff amazing, relaxed feeling overall. Great for fam with little kids. The waterpark slides work in a rotating manner, not all on in the same time- we travelled in August, high peak season. Conveniently located off the Main Street, you can easily walk to outside shops, local restaurants and book excursions, rent cars, 4wheelers etc Would stay there again!!"

"Lovely hotel, clean rooms. Fantastic clean beach shallow waters ideal for the family. Pool is great. The stand out feature is the staff, at the restaurant and pool bar. They work very hard and are very attentive. The food was a high standard. It is a quiet part of the island so great for relaxing. I would recommend"

"Hotel in a quiet location with only a short walk to the beach in one direction, and the ‘strip’ in the other. Less than 10 mins from the airport via taxi. Easy check in."
