"The room was comfy, bed was nice, no ac but plenty of fans and screened windows to let the ocean breeze make it comfortable. We stayed in unit 18. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The property landscaping is beautiful tropical. This is a very secluded and remote location and so quiet and relaxing. The room patio was perfect for sitting on the lounge chairs, seeing the ocean in the distance, but still able to see and hear the rough surf. Definitely try the restaurant Hana Hou in Naahelu, a 20 min drive (also the closest restaurant to the property), it is very good!"

"Great resort for a reasonable price. Great Location. Easily accessible by car or walking to shops and dining. There is some renovations being done little to know disturbance to the guest. The rooms are large and half a nice little kitchenette, but the beds are quite hard in the bedding is not very luxurious."

"An incredible property with abysmal food and sub par service. Kona Village is magical - the grounds, the hales (rooms), the spa, the yoga, the bikes to ride around the property and the stunning beach. But such a magical 5 star resort should also offer excellent cuisine and hospitality. We were shocked by the inconsistent food, the lack of variety and the room service which was never correct and delivered uncovered. We were so excited to return to our beloved Kona Village after 16 years but were left very disappointed. Unless something dramatic changes with the management we shall not return. "

"This a was a large condo building on the water. There was plenty of parking and a security guard on premises. Every door uses a pass code to get in like room, pool, elevator, stairs ect. There are some people that use these condos for winter months. It was located close to downtown kona. "

"Our room on the street side neededsound proofing! The shutters don’t keep out the road noise and it was very noisy early and late. Difficult to sleep. Otherwise it was clean and had a great view. "
