You are invited to rest and relax in “Ka Hale Lai” , Kailua’s House of Serenity, 5 minutes to the beach, and a short drive to the heart of Kailua town. This is a Legal, licensed vacation rentalNUC#90/BB0034. You will feel like you are visiting old Hawaii in this classic home. Enjoy modern conveniences like AC in every room and new kitchen and bathrooms.

We are located in a quiet Kailua neighborhood called Kaimalino—a short walk away from Turtle Beach. We are walking distance from a grocery store and restaurants but away from the busier Kailua town. We are close to the H-3 on ramp which can get you to the airport in 25 minutes. Sand bar and fishing charters available for additional fee if available.

The State of Hawaii is welcoming visitors with negative COVID tests and allowing legal vacation rentals starting this week! We are so excited to welcome you back to Ka Hale Lai!!

Very convenient location to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. We were in Kailua for two of our teens gymnastic competition. The pool was a bit cool but the girls made great use of it every day. And the hot tub was wonderful after long days. The house was very well stocked.

Our family of seven enjoyed our weeklong stay at this beautiful home in a residential area of Kailua. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Safeway market was walking distance for supplies. The backyard has a lively pool and spa. There’s a beautiful beach a 20 minute walk from the house and the town of Kailua is a short drive. Beach towels & chairs were provided too. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful home..

Serenity house was perfect for our mixed aged group: beautiful pool, lots of areas to relax both inside and outside, large yard to play in, very comfortable beds. We also loved the location. Without hesitation, we would stay here again!

We had 3 couples and each couple had their own BR and bathroom. The hot tub and pool were a great way to relax when we returned from our adventures each day. There are large indoor common spaces including a spacious kitchen, living and family rooms. On top of that is a great covered outdoor sitting and dining area by the pool. The location lends itself to exploring the North Shore, Waikiki, the pali lookout and hiking, etc.

This house was exactly as described and more. We were in Hawaii as a family for my brother-in-law retirement from Marine Corps. This house allowed us a space to hang out as a family - grill, use pool and hot tub but also a good spot to hit many attractions -Waikiki, Sandy beach, diamond head and more. Kitchen , bedrooms and bath rooms are also very nice. It was a great place to stay - Wow!

The pictures are accurate. There's a large pool, and a hot tub on the property, with a large yard for playing games in - with privacy from the road / neighbors. There's an outdoor seating area to play games and watch TV. The master suite is separate from the 'main' house - which is also nice. 4 spacious bedrooms, and a nice kitchen. The location is nice as well, you're pretty close to a bunch of restaurants, Target, Safeway, etc. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing, but more importantly it was immaculate and well provisioned when we arrived. Everything you need for a long distance vacation holiday was already available, for both the pool and beach. Our hosts were helpful and gracious, and we look forward to another visit. This was a wonderful space for my family to reunite for a celebration of life. Cousins, aunties and uncles from all over were able to join us for an evening in a beautiful and comfortable space. Fantastic place for family and friends to gather! Property is really amazing; accommodations, gathering space, pool, backyard, distance to beach and other daily needs could not be better. We were a bit worried about the big road behind the house but this was not an issue what so ever. The only thing I would comment on is the overall cleanliness and specifically the kitchen. At this price level we expected something better! Kitchen is equipped OK’ish but very messy and not clean. Would not take much to get this property to a very impressive level all around.
