"We arrived earlier than the 14.00 hours booking in time. I politely asked if it was possible to take the room earlier. If it had not been possible I would have accepted the decision. The key was handed over and I paid. The lady in question did not present a welcoming demeanour that I have seen in the other properties I have stayed in. Points of issue with Room 18: 1. Heater in bathroom does not work 2. Shower head leaks 3. Sink needs attention due to not emptying quick enough "

"We enjoyed our stays however was overwhelmed by the rules on staying at the property the book lists was over the top and felt unwelcoming especially if you stay a minute over 10am checkout time they charge $20 per hour, the kitchen was good however not really clean the pots and pans need upgrading the owner was not friendly so made us uncomfortable on arrival. Maybe kids would like it with all the animals around the dogs were the best part so lovely."

"Fantastic location, just a literal skip over the train tracks and you’re on the beach! Everything was pristine in the room, very comfortable. Quick drive into town with tons of shopping and food options. The seal colony nearby was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend the Alpine View for a lovely stay! "
