Loft living in a Spacious, remodeled 2bd Condo

Kahana Villa E409! This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo features tall windows that allow in wonderful natural light and a private lanai with peek-a-boo ocean views from the 4th floor. Better ocean views are visible from the loft bedroom upstairs and bathrooms. This property has elevators for easy access. Unit E409 can accommodate up to 4 guests. From the upstairs loft bedroom, you will enjoy a California king-size bed. The en suite bathroom includes a double-sink vanity and walk-in shower with opaque sliding glass doors. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed with a pillow-top mattress. There is a second full bathroom, featuring a single-sink vanity. Stay cool with a window A/C unit in the main living room area, ceiling fans in every room, or ocean breezes on windy days. The main floor is open concept and features an indoor dining area for 4 and a living room including a Smart TV.

Both bathrooms are located on the top floor. Enjoy cooking meals in this remodeled and fully equipped kitchen that features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The condo also includes a washer and dryer.

Horrible condo high rise stucco building. Very run down the moment I opened the door i called the property manager and asked to be relocated. The sun blast through the entire condo the master bedroom is a loft. Small old a/c not maintained the property manager was wonderful and I was accommodated into another place.

We really enjoyed our stay and the place was VERY clean. The kitchen was well stocked and we had a nice view of the ocean. The only issue was the heat. The single AC unit did not cool very well. The large glass window, which provides a lovely view, acts as a greenhouse. It would be great to have some sort of shade that you could pull down over the window during the heat of the day to keep the place a bit cooler. I was glad there were ample fans and we were able to eventually get the space a bit cooler. You cannot close the separate room door if you want that room to cool off so not a lot of privacy for the person who stays in that room. The loft bedroom stayed cooler than the separate room. The pool was very nice and access to the beach was an easy 5 minute walk. The dryer vents into the room so we had to hang our clothes out to dry after washing. Venting heat into an area that is already hot is not ideal. Despite the heat, I would definately stay here again.

Condo was in a great location. A/C unit is not enough to keep the entire condo cool. The upstairs bedrooms especially the guest bedroom stayed pretty warm. It was not very comfortable to sleep upstairs. I’d recommend getting split unit A/Cs for bedrooms upstairs.

Kahana with Love

Was a great location. Minor hiccup when we re given Notice about work to be done in the condo during our stay, but all was resolved quickly. The condo was very spacious and the value was terrific. It's Priceless to have an extra bathroom (and bedroom even tho it was only my husband & i). We really enjoyed its walk to beach location and little restaurants near by. Also can see beach and terrific sunsets from the deck. Worth every dollar!

A/C inadequate for space. Lots of stairs, both baths on second floor. Carpeting in master, stairs needed replacement 10 years ago. Filthy! Owners need to spend some money to update before I they should rent again!

The house was overall too hot

The house was overall too hot. The air conditioner was too old, making too much noise, and the window-mounted air conditioner wasn't sufficient to cool the house. Additionally, the kitchen was generally greasy and dirty, and the bathroom was dirty overall.

Great location, condo needs some updating

Overall it was a good stay at this condo for the 4 of us. It did supply everything we needed. I was however disappointed with the presentation of the condo. Although it was “clean”, it’s very dated and it had a very much used feel. The carpet is in rough shape and needs major cleaning or removal, especially on the stairs. The laminate in the kitchen is worn and separated. The windows need a good cleaning. The tiled patio left a lot to be desired, we didn’t spend any time out there due to its condition. There were rust marks on the tiles and broken tiles. The patio furniture has seen better days. The whole patio felt dirty. There was a big rainfall when we were there and a windy day. The screen on the patio door came off, and there was water leaking from the ceiling right above the windows. I called the management company who came right out and fixed the screen, and he took note of the leaking water but couldn’t do anything immediately about it. In saying all of that the booking and communication with the property manager were good. The condo facilities like the pool were great. And it is in a great location. I would stay at this location again, but not this condo.

Great stay

Overall this was a great place to stay for our Maui vacation. I knew from reading other reviews to bring eye masks to use at night and that it would be warm upstairs due to the AC unit being downstairs. But we enjoyed having the space of a condo, use of washer/dryer, beach chairs/toys/towels. The dishwasher was broken and after I called them about it, they quickly delivered extra dishwashing soap/supplies so we could wash dishes by hand. Beautiful ocean view from the loft - even did some whale watching from the comfort of our room. Location was perfect and the kids loved using the pool. Overall everything worked out and it was a great stay!

The location at Kahana is excellent and the property is large enough for 4 adults and a child. It has AC but only in the main room downstairs (like most places in Hawaii). The place was clean and had all the amenities listed in the property description. However, some of the amenities were in poor condition— the dish washer was broken so we had to do the dishes by hand every night, the refrigerator leaked rather badly and did not make ice or water (despite it being equipped to do so), the toilet paper holder fell off of the wall, the shower door was hanging by a thread, and one of ceiling fans would operate only if the attached ceiling light was on as well, which is a non starter if you want to sleep with the fan on (which is absolutely necessary given how hot the bedrooms are— at least in August). Check in was a breeze and Perfect Stays were easy to reach, though they didn’t (couldn’t?) do anything to correct all of the problems. Bottom line: the property could’ve been above average but will probably never be way above average.

Great location, great place

The place is right across the street from beach access. Clean place with great views of the beach. I would recommend bringing eye masks for sleeping in the loft bed because the sun is bright in the mornings with no shades for the main window.

Beautiful place

My family loved this vacation home. It is right across the street from the beach and had everything we needed. My favorite part about it was the amazing floor to ceiling Windows that give you a view like no other. It is an awesome place with super comfy beds after you have had a long day exploring!

Great central location

The unit was very clean and well-maintained with upgrades throughout. There was lots of sitting room and places to eat and a partial ocean view from the patio. There was a very nice cross breeze when you opened the kitchen windows and sliding glass window. We read previous reviews and brought eye masks to sleep in which worked perfectly well, otherwise definitely would have been woken up from the light. As long as the downstairs ac was on at night and we had our standing and ceiling fans on at night, we stayed cool. Just don't forget the only two bathrooms are both upstairs! Not an issue normally, but I tore a ligament in my knee upon arrival and it made it tough those first few days for sure! Not their fault, just something to keep in mind! I appreciated the call we got from My Perfect Stays asking if everything was going well and when I asked for help with something, the man who called said he'd look in to it and sent me a text with all the info. We didn't get any trash bags and when I called and asked about it, they were delivered within 30 minutes! The little beach across the street was perfect for swimming and even some decent snorkeling and several turtles! Coffee and food within walking distance was awesome. I would book again with My Perfect Stays for sure!

Lovely condo, highly recommend.

Well equipped condo providing everything we needed. Great location. Would definitely recommend this condo. It provided everything we needed. So nice to have beach chairs etc .The only negative was no blinds for the master bedroom making it hot sleeping & I needed to use a sleep mask . That might not bother most people, as it didn’t bother my husband . The AC doesn’t cool the upstairs. We just left the windows & screen door opened at night to get a breeze , & used the ceiling fans. Thanks

Family stay in Kahana

The property was a nice condo with plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. There was A/C downstairs where the grandkids slept on the pullout sofa but none upstairs where the adults slept. It was August and the temps were in the upper 80’s, and so it was a little uncomfortable sleeping upstairs. They provided fans upstairs but that just moved the hot air around. Overall the condo was very nice. They provided beach chairs, noodles, a small cooler, and a snorkel set. The location is okay, near many great beaches but, it’s not on the beach. You have to cross the street and walk through other resorts or to the local park to access the ocean-not a big deal. Would we stay here again-probably not because there are so many interesting properties in Maui that we would like to explore. That being said our trip was memorable and this property was adequate for our needs.

Great stay

This was the perfect accommodations for a family of 5. The property had everything we needed and was a quiet retreat from the all of the fun in Maui. I would highly recommend this location and home.
