"The room is spacious and offers a beautiful view of the lake. The customer service is attentive and thoughtful. As for the meals, there is an impressive variety of dishes, most of which are delicious—especially the botan shrimp, yellowtail, and the steamed egg custard with nodoguro. "Beautiful place to relax. Located in an Onsen town, Tachibana Shikitei provides mulitiple opportunities for guests to relax and enjoy nature. I took a walk to the temple, shrine, and through the quaint Onsen town. Took advantage of the bath 3 times! Would absolutely love to stay here again."

"Ryokan’s kaiseki dinner was finely executed and delicious. Ryokan has a “lion “ dance show in evening for guests, a bonus. Room size was smaller than we expected but adequate. Location was okay as apart from some stores around the square, there was nothing else around the area. "
